Taking a vacation with Adrian Monk

Today a man I know, gets off the phone after bickering with his wife, looks at me and says, "Stay single. The minute you get married or move in with someone, you'll be pissed off about something every day." I told him, "My being single has its challenges. I still have to put up with friends and relatives who insist that we take a vacation together. We're talking about people who are either very persnickety or have health problems. I know a person who's a penny pincher. I mean, it's a condition that's so bad it pains this individual to spend more than seventeen dollars on anything. I also know a person with an allergy to polyethylene glycol and propylene glycol. You'd only know that if they told you. But these people don't owe you an explanation. ...
